In Europe, a moose is called "elk". They live in Northern Europe from Scandinavia to Siberia. This elk has chosen Rondane national park in Norway as habitat.
Elk mainly eat twigs and leaves especially from softwood trees. But they also eat bark, and marsh and water plants. In the Scandinavian countries elks live in coniferous forests --also called taigas- and in marshlands, the tundra. They are good swimmers, having long feet which enable them to move swiftly and easily.
